KalalMy first attempt at quilting was about 30+ years ago. After a 10 minute demo at a Hancock Fabric store, I felt I could make a queen size quilt (don’t ask me why). I did finish it and still have it. As my family’s need increased I put quilting to the side. I did continue to sew for the family. After purchasing a new machine in 1998 I took a class offered on a small quilted project, it rekindled my quilting desire. I joined a quilting guild, found that there is a whole new world out there and realized that quilters are wonderful people (aren’t we blessed). After searching for good quilt fabrics felt the need for a quilt shop in the neighborhood. With my husband John’s (aka Dear) support I opened the Quilter’s Source 12 years ago. I like to teach at the shop, for guilds. In the past I have taught at NEORQC and Cedar Lakes.

I am not an expert but I am willing to share whatever knowledge I have and also learn from any one I meet be it a teacher or student.
