Beth Sidley, Chardon, Ohio

AndrewsBeth grew up in Northeast Ohio in a family who always appreciated & loved crafts. Beth took her first quilting class about 16 years ago & was hooked instantly. Her love for colors, pattern & design led her to open Cottonpicker’s Quilt Shop in October 2004.

Cottonpicker’s specializes in batiks & civil war fabrics. Beth is continually inspired by her customer’s creativity. The possibilities are endless in quilting. Beth traveled to Montana in June 2012 to study with Judy Niemeyer, the queen of exquisite foundation paper-piecing, and Cottonpicker’s Quilt Shop became a certified Judy Niemeyer shop.

Beth is also fortunate to share her love of quilting with her daughter, Rebecca Silbaugh. Rebecca’s first book “Seamingly Scrappy” published by Martingale was released in February 2013.
